Nielsen has a lot of different venues for making money.




Nielsen has been around for a fairly long time. I used to do a lot with their company when I worked in Marketing Research. Its hard to find what links to click for Nielsen, unless you really search...that has its pros and its cons.

 Cons-You may find Nielsen under different names such as Harris Polls, NCP (National Consumer Panel) and Pinecone Research. unless you word your search just right. I have heard some rumors about Nielson Homescan panel for scanning products doesn't pay well, for the work you have to put in, I will edit this as soon as I find out for myself...which will be soon. Also, they aren't always open for sign ups...so if you can't sign up now..try...try again.

Pros- Once you sign up, you don't have to do surveys, if you get an envelope from any of the companies above, chances are there is cash in there just from looking in the envelope. If you send a survey back, or choose to participate in the study offered..bam more cash..and most of them are fairly easy. You can easily do the surveys online as well, and still get gift cards or money in your paypal. Also through Nielsen, they give you recommendations for legitimate money making opportunies with real companies.

So, I give Nielsen a definite A+ for money making, in 2 months I have made $60 dollars just from sending in enveloped (Which are already stamped and addressed..so you don't even lose money there) surveys back, doing their radio study and just from participating in their online surveys.

SurveyJunkie...is the money worth the effort?

I checked out Survey Junkie. Its a website where you earn points per survey. Every point is a cent. If you accumulate enough points to make $10, you can redeem those points and gain $10 in your paypal account or by a gift card. In the first day, within two hours, I accumulated 423 points. I haven't been able to be on it much after a couple days, BUT...if you do a survey, and you end up not qualifying, you still gain 2-3 points for filling out the initial questionnaire. Now, the whole process isn't hard, and if you do qualify..you can gain a lot of points quickly...50, 60, 70 points..so theoretically. if you qualify for 1-2 surveys a day, you can make $10 dollars every week or so. Some of the surveys are 5 minutes long, some are as long as 40 minutes.
